Lifespan Religious Education

The Unitarian Universalist Meeting of South Berkshire is committed to Lifespan Religious Education. We offer children’s religious education classes on Sundays, a Coming of Age Program for Youth, and Adult Religious Education classes throughout the year.

The goals for our children's religious education program are:

  • To develop an understanding of our Unitarian Universalist heritage and the Principles and Purposes of the Unitarian Universalist Association.
  • To develop religious literacy, understanding and insights from all the world religions
  • To develop respect for self and for others.
  • To learn and live effective ways of service within the congregation, the local community and the world.
  • To encourage children to develop their own spirituality and religious beliefs, and to recognize this process as a lifelong journey.
